In the world of smart home automation, some products really fit in as a whole home solution, while others are more standalone products – even if they can be tied into integrated apps.
Consider most Bluetooth home automation products to be single room, because unless you are less than 30 feet away, you can’t talk to them. Range is key when choosing product for a whole home solution, and you’ll generally want WiFi enabled products if you’re looking to have a network.
If you have just an Amazon Echo, for voice control, controlling various products, that would be an example of a one room solution, but you can put them in every room to build a whole smart home.
SengLED’s Pulse light collection, the Eve line of monitoring outlets, and sensors, and many smart speaker systems are examples of single room Bluetooth products.
