tThe first and most important thing is this: The EZ 4G works! For the first time at my mom’s, I was able to utilize the internet at decent (not great) speeds, get online work done, and not get driven crazy!
As mentioned SureCall EZ 4G is a booster that supports five bands, including of course, 3G, 4G and 4 LTE, and they say it is carrier agnostic – it will work with your favorite – be that AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, etc. I only tested it using AT&T as that’s the carrier I use.
This is important to consider: You will want your cellular device (smartphone, etc.) relatively close to that small “omni” antenna. The dish antenna part works best pointed out a window, where it can see “daylight,” or even more specifically works best if pointing to the nearest cell tower, rather than facing walls or other close by buildings.
Distance between your device – smart phone, etc. and the Omni antenna affects the speed I can upload hi-res photos and other large files. Since you want the dish on a window sill, or outside, the omni antenna attaches to the dish by a long coaxial cable – about 50 feet long, in fact.
