Home automation meets high-end in the new Baldwin Evolved. The latest addition to the Baldwin Hardware line, the Baldwin Evolved uses Kevo technology and comes in eighteen beautiful and fully customizable finishes to fit in with the design of your home. A leading company in luxury hardware, the Baldwin Evolved offers a smart solution for handlesets and deadbolts that will compliment the architecture of your smart home.
Brass tones, brushed metals, and matte black are just some of the options available in the Baldwin Evolved design. Baldwin Hardware prides itself on using the highest quality materials, working with brass and other high-grade metals. The Baldwin Evolved and other hardware available through the company are specifically made for customers with high standards and a good eye.
The handleset’s elegant design encases the smart hardware, concealing it in an attractive exterior. The Baldwin Evolved is said to measure roughly 60 percent smaller than similar smart lock products, with subtle LED lights for easy communication with the user.
A Kevo bridge is required for the Baldwin Evolved to work. Once connected, users can use their smartphone to open and close doors via the Kevo app, along with a host of other important features. The app itself runs in the background, allowing you to enter your home without the need to open the app. It also permits users to access the device’s history, give out “ekeys” to grant access to other family members, friends and guests, and unlock the door remotely as long as you’re in Bluetooth range.
Baldwin Hardware pulled out all of the stops for this one, using military grade PKI encryption to meet the highest security standards. Additional features include water resistance – a major plus – and a self-aligning bolt for ease of use. The Baldwin Evolved is set to start shipping later in 2017 from the Baldwin Hardware website.
