Nanoleaf 4D Features
The Nanoleaf 4D uses a camera that can be positioned either above or below your TV to sync the colors from the content on your screen with the light strip mounted behind it for total immersion. The camera has a privacy cover.
The light strip itself has 10 color zones per meter, so its gradient effect allows for a more accurate representation of what appears on your screen. The lighting effects will automatically remap to fit the length of the lighting strip when you cut it.
There are 4 Mirror Modes to choose from, each designed to suit a particular mood or style of content. Ambient background lighting, fluid color melts, and a direct “4D” match, which gets you that total screen mirrored color immersion. Any mode can be coupled with Rhythm sound reactivity to engage the senses further.
The Nanoleaf 4D can sync across 50+ Nanoleaf devices, including Nanoleaf Shapes and Lines. This expands the mirror effect, potentially, into all four corners of your room. If you play it right, you can get a surround lighting effect.
The Nanoleaf App
Within the app, you can use thousands of non-mirroring Scenes, or customize by creating your own Scenes. There are even 10 new exclusive Scenes currently available, so if you are familiar with Nanoleaf’s scenes, you’ll look forward to a couple handfuls more.
These lighting effects have 16M+ colors, and you can personalize your own lighting effects using all of them. The community also has created thousands of lighting effects that you can play with. The non-mirroring scenes can be enjoyed when the TV is off, to set the vibe for any kind of gathering you have.
The Nanoleaf app has a Rhythm Music Visualizer for the Nanoleaf 4D, which you can pair with a screen mirroring mode or you can turn on a non-mirroring Rhythm Scene. The non-mirroring Rhythm Scene to use with your favorite music and create an audio-visual experience.
Magic Scenes are a cool feature. Using the app, enter any word to create a unique Scene that is inspired by that word. Nanoleaf suggests to try it with character names or titles of your favorite video games, movies, or TV shows. That sounds like it could be a lot of fun!

Easy Setup
Setup of the Nanoleaf 4D is a simple process. Once you’ve trimmed and placed the light strips, you set it up in the app with 2-step calibration.
Place the camera above or below the TV—whatever position suits your TV setup and aesthetic.
Then, you can adjust the color vibrancy by either choosing something like a muted, cinematic look, or popping colors. You can also fine-tune it all.
The Nanoleaf 4D can be controlled via the app, its manual controller, or your voice assistant, for non-mirroring effects like turning the lights on and off, adjusting the brightness, and choosing Scenes and Rhythm.
