Lockly may not be a household name like Yale or Schlage—yet—but it is a smart lock brand worth looking at if you’re in the market for securing your home’s doors. Lockly is a smart lock brand that came out of Silicon Valley, with a product line that was created using decades of successful international high-tech production and development experience. The company brings advanced features like their patented PIN Genie technology and 3D biometric fingerprint scanner to homeowners, smart rentals, builder/developers, and smart hotels.
Security is Top of Mind for Lockly
Security is of the utmost importance to Lockly. All their smart locks are protected using 128-bit encryption, which is a well-respected technique used by many of today’s top IoT-connected devices. Lockly continually innovates and upgrades its property cloud technology services, backed by Amazon Web Services (AWS), to defy picking, bumping, hacking, and other typical lock break-in techniques.

- Multiple options for keyless entry
- Doesn’t require internet to be used (with Offline Access codes)
- Alexa and Google Assistant voice control

Features
The Lockly Secure Pro is designed for the home, offices, rental properties, and AirBnBs. It includes a Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub which allows for voice control, remote control, and real-time monitoring.
The lock comes in Satin Nickel, Matte Black, Venetian Bronze, and Brushed Gold. It’s available in the Deadbolt and Latch designs, for $299.99 and $319.99. Both types have the option to go with either a Right Fingerprint Reader or a Left Fingerprint Reader.
Like the Vision, the Lockly Secure Pro can be controlled via the app or voice control. Also through the app, you can get real-time alerts whenever the door is unlocked or open, and logs of the activity. This is particularly useful for rental properties and AirBnBs where you might want to know when a guest has checked in or out.
If the internet goes out, that’s not a problem with this lock. There’s Offline Access codes that don’t require internet to be used. Those or One-time Access codes can be shared with guests, maintenance, or staff. There’s also E-Key distribution that allows for keyless entry that can be sent to anyone at any time.
Like the Lockly Vision, the Lockly Secure Pro has that 3D Biometric Fingerprint Sensor. The smart lock can remember up to 99 fingerprint profiles at a time, and they can be easily managed from the app. It uses four AA batteries with a claim that it lasts 10 to 12 months with ten times per day usage.
